How to read any lineup
Why channel counts are the wrong comparison
A channel count tells you the size of a lineup, not whether it carries what you watch. A large total is genuinely useful if you follow international sport or want programming in another language, and close to irrelevant if you watch fifteen US networks.
The useful test is much smaller: write down the ten to fifteen channels you actually watch in a normal week.
